Columbia Basin Duck Hunting: Duck hunting here is best from November thru January with the peak migration occuring in Dec-Jan. Experience some of the best mallard hunting in the west on some of the best duck ground in the basin. We hunt ducks in flooded fields, flooded pastures and dry fields. These properties are managed for success and located along the Snake and Columbia rivers along with several large refuges. Scouting is key to our success and we scout daily to know where the ducks are.

Most of our hunts do not require waders and take place in comfortable blinds that accomodate up to 6 hunters. We use only the best in decoys and gear and pride ourselves on paying attention to the small details that make the difference. Give us a call and enjoy shooting mallards feet down in the decoys!

Columbia Basin Goose Hunting: Enjoy waterfowling hunting with Big Guns Waterfowl Outfitters this season and experience fast paced goose hunting action in the Columbia Basin like you have never seen before. Big Guns runs two parties per day on our thousands of acres of leased properties. This ensures you have the best opportunity to get into birds day in and day out. Thousands of ducks and geese migrate to the basin every year and many of them spend the majority of their fall and winter on our properties located along with Columbia and Snake Rivers. 

We hunt from comfortable pits and layout blinds that allow you to enjoy your hunt from a warm and usually dry location. We use only the best gear and decoys, including Dave Smith Decoys and Stuffers(Taxidermy goose decoys). 

Peak migration in the Columbia Basin is typically mid November through January. During these dates it is not uncommon to see thousands of Canada geese and mallards swarming our well managed properties. We have made arrangements with the Clover Island Inn for our hunters to receive special room rates.
