Oregon Hunts
N.W. Permit and General Zone goose hunts: These hunts start in October and run through late February. This is a unique opportunity to hunt several different sub-species of geese in the same location including Cacklers, Taverners, Lessers, Honkers, Aleutians and the occasional Spec or Snow goose. Hundreds of thousands of geese migrate through the Lower Columbia river and Willamette valley every fall/winter making this an exciting hunt that is sure to put a smile on your face! Watch as thousands of geese work into the decoys and maybe even some bonus ducks!
All hunts take place on private properties that are managed for success and scouted daily. Enjoy your hunt in a warm and comfortable layout blind or a pit blind. We hunt over thousands of dollars in Dave Smith Decoys, you have to see these decoys in action! N.W. Goose Permit Required.

Duck hunting: Duck hunting in the
Pacific Northwest is something that has to be experienced. With hundreds of thousands of ducks migrating up and down the Pacific flyway we specialize in shooting ducks “feet down” from beginning to end.
We keep the number of duck hunts limited to ensure a quality hunt every time. Peak migration occurs from Nov-Jan across the state. Scouting is key to our success and we hunt where the ducks are, this includes dry fields, flooded fields and timber sloughs.
Most of our duck hunts take place in the Willamette valley and areas around Sauvie Island. We go where the ducks so we scout constantly to make sure we are in the "honey hole". While duck hunting in the N.W. we will see Mallards, Pintails, Gadwall, Wigeon, Teal and the occasional diver.

September Goose Season: Enjoy early season goose hunting in September when big honkers are the name of the game! Oregon has an abundant resident goose population and we now offer early season goose hunts with a liberal 5 honker limit. Hunts take place up and down the Willamette valley in freshly harvested fields where flocks of 15-20 honkers at at time are not uncommon. During most years we are able to drive into the fields and hunt in almost T-shirt type weather.
This is a short 10 day season so we highly suggest booking your date early. We have a high success rate on these hunts and it's a great way to get some early wing shooting in before Oct/Nov. Hunts take place out of layout and pit blinds and we use DSD honker decoys and stuffers!

Columbia Basin Goose Season: The Columbia basin near Umatilla/Boardman Oregon is a major stopping ground for migrating lessers and honkers. We hunt near the Umatilla National Wildlife Refuge Complex where thousands and thousands of migrating ducks and geese stop from November thru January.
Goose hunting in the basin can be fast paced and lots of fun. Having access to some of the best property in the basin allows us to manage the hunting pressure and ensure you have a high quality hunt every time.
Most of our hunting takes place out of layout blinds and on most hunts we use of "Stuffer" goose decoys. These decoys are actual taxidermy geese, you have to see these decoys in action! When the weather turns moist we use DSD's, the best plastic goose decoys on the market!
Peak migration occurs from November thru January. You can expect to see a majority of honkers and lessers but specs and large flocks of snow geese aren't uncommon. There are several hotels and resteraunts in the area. Enjoy basin goose hunting only a few short hours from Portland!
Late Season Spec/Snow Hunts: The Klamath Falls basin of Southern Oregon receives thousands of spring migration specs and snows every year. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has dedicated a spring season to help remove geese that ruin farmers crops! With thousands of Specs and Snows migrating through, this hunt is just another way to extend your season and enjoy shooting gorgeous specs and snow geese on their return migration.
This hunt takes place in late Feb and early March when the migration hits its peak in the basin. Most of our hunts take place out of warm layout blinds hunting over DSD Spec and snow decoys! Shooting adult specs and snow geese is not uncommon and these birds make for excellent taxidermy pieces. All of our hunting is done on private property where hunting pressure is managed for success.
Klamath Falls has several nice hotels and resteraunts close to where we are hunting. Bird processing is available upon requet. Enjoy shooting specs and snows only a few hours drive from Portland, Eugene, Sacramento and the bay area!
